Merry Christmas…and the most important thing is…

Food!!! no just kidding…it’s family!!!

The best thing in the world is to be around family and friends. I am very fortunate to have my family around me to celebrate this time of year and whereas I love the gifts and food, I am very thankful to have them here with me. We tend to forget with all the good food and gifts we give that the most important thing in the world is our family. That family can be anyone…it can include your immediate family all the way to your neighbors. Family is a funny thing and can include so many different people and mean so many different things. Even all of you that read my blog each day (for which I am so grateful) can be considered part of my family. Just depends who you think is part of your family. I hope each of you have someone, at least to spend a little time with this year.  Just to have a cup of coffee or glass of eggnog with. You don’t have to exchange gifts…just someone to share your memories with.

As this day draws to a close, just remember how close we all are and that in the bigger sense of the word, we are all family. I hope each of you realize that even with all the great gifts and amazing food, it’s the memories and time you have with your family that is the most important. I hope everyone has a happy, safe, and enjoyable Christmas!!
