Fit Challenge Week 6

Standard

So here I am another week has gone by. I have not lost weight since last week but at least I did not gain. I am still where I was last week. The only thing that did change I lost an inch on my backside. I guess that’s a good thing 🙂  I can actually get into a pair of jeans that did not fit me 2 months ago. Unfortunately, I do not think I am going to make it to my goal for this month 0f 176 but I am going to wait till Thursday and see where I am. Until then here are my stats for this week:

Week 44

Standard

Sorry all…I did not forget..promise. I’ve been sick since this weekend and yesterday I think was my worse day…ugh!! It seems every time I make a little headway into my goal, either my allergies act up or I catch a cold. Well needless to say I did make a little headway. I lost a couple of pounds!!! YAY!!! I was so happy when I saw that. It actually made me feel a little better despite my cold. I am still recuperating from this bug so I will be doing some really light exercises this week but will stay on the same course I am on because it seems to be working.

 

Week 44:

Week 31…

Standard

Not much has changed. I am trying to stay positive but when you are not seeing any visible results…it stinks. I’m not complaining…not really. Because I started out with this not to just lose weight but to change myself from the inside out. That is what is happening. I am able to do more than when  first started this journey. I am able to function better and I know my insides feel better 🙂   I just wished now that the inside is feeling better, the outside would look better….lol. I just have to be patient I guess. It will all come together in the end.

Week 16 – Down but not out

Well here I am. I am at week 16 of my weight loss journey and I am not much better then where I started. I am not depressed, I am just disappointed. I need to get this weight off. I am almost tempted to go back to the old way of dieting but then I think about how many times I have done that and it did me no good. So again, here I am. I am down but I am not out. I will continue…I will not stop.

Week 5

Starting out on this journey I knew it was not going to be easy to break old habits and to get where I want to be, but to be honest I really thought by this point I would have lost a little more than I have. I know I’m going to get there but each week you look down and honestly do not see all that much of a difference, it can be discouraging. You look at it and think is it really worth it? Why am I doing this? It would be so much easier to not do it and go back to old ways. Why? I’ll tell you why…because I am tired of the way I look. I am tired of not being able to do the things I used to do. I am tired of not being able to just being able. That is the motivation that keeps me going even though I do not see all that much difference in my appearance.

My bust: 40 in

My waist: 36 in

Week 4 – not all that impressive

Standard

To be honest I was not as good as I should have been this past week. Whereas I did not skip working out, I did eat more than I should have. Between getting things ready for my kids’ homeschooling and me, honestly, just being lazy, we ate out a lot more than we should have. So my stats really are not as impressive as they should be. But hey, it’s a journey and a long term one at that. It is not a huge set back but if I allow it, it will make me go back on old habits. I am not going back there. I will get this!!!
