Goals for June


Ok I am just a fountain of posts today….lol!!! I just got the bug so I guess I am writing 🙂

I figure with the new month I am going to start some new habits. I have been wanting to get back to reading. I used to read a lot but between work and life sometimes it is hard to find time. So I am making time for that and a few other things as well. Here’s my list:



  1. read more (2 books at least)
  2. use less electronic devices
  3. try to get out more
  4. cook with my kids more


I know they sound simple but the reality is they are not. I am definitely going to read at least 2 books. Not sure which ones yet but I’ll put them on here and give a brief synopsis after reading (yeah I’ll write a short report…lol). The electronic devices thing is going to be a little hard but I will do it. I will get out more…especially with the kids being out of school, the weekends will be great. The cooking thing is probably the easiest. Both of my kids love to cook. So I guess we will just make it a family thing 🙂

Hi everyone!! Here I am. This week I started my exercising again. I enjoy it but as with everything…when the holidays come it all get’s pushed back. When I started again this week I was at 180.8. I dropped a pound so I know I can get back on track as long as I stay on track and not get distracted 🙂  I said way back last year I am not doing it primarily for weight loss but it is nice to see it come off. I am going to the DR for a check up on February 2 so we’ll see where I am at that point. Hopefully it will be in a good place. As I said on my post earlier I was going to post my Fitbit email. So here is the screenshot from this morning at 4:32 am:

Fit Challenge Week 31


Hey all!! Back from my little bug….feeling a lot better. Still have a few sniffles but that is almost gone as well. I have had some maintaining on what was from last week because I really did not do too much. I am picking up the pace a bit this week but not going to over do it because I am still healing. I should be at 100 % next week. Till then here are my stats. Have a great week!!

Fit Challenge Week 15 and Monthly Check In 9/27


OMG!!! I DID IT!!!! I made my goal for the month!!! I am currently at 173.4!!!! Yes I know I said I want to be at 173 flat but you know something I don’t care!!! I did it!!! wp_20160927_10_54_32_pro1

Ok now that I got that out of the way I can go on about other things….oh wait a minute….that’s what this post is about!!! My measurements have not changed all that much but will post them here as well below. I just cannot believe I’ve made it this far. That means I have lost overall since the beginning from last year (July 16, 2015 I weighed 186) I have lost 13 pounds!!! I am so happy!! I know 13 pounds don’t seem like a lot and probably I could have got them off a lot quicker if losing weight were my only goal. But it’s not. My biggest goal is to change all of my bad habits and start new and better habits. The weight honestly is my second goal. I do want them to come off but if I don’t change my bad habits that put me here I will just gain them right back.

So with this all being said, I am going to set my new monthly goal to be 168 pounds for me to come and show on October 28, 2016. I will get it off…just watch me 😀
